It's pretty good and quite similar to the rockier stuff on The Sky Is Too High - it's the mentality that mainly works in it.
Though I think the song is seriously lacking the cohesion to be the "hit single". Of course, I understand he only wanted to break the pop song formula (like Damon on most of the Plastic Beach songs). But if the result sounds repetitive and the song has NO chorus, hmmm.  |

I dunno. I quite liked it. Of course his kind of... poet... had best times but THIS song make you feel... the groove. I think he wanted to do something like that. So why he can't?
